The kit behind your prints

Meet the machines.

Good prints don't happen by accident. They come from good machines, kept in good order, run by someone who knows them inside out. Here's what we print on, and what it means for the parts you get back.

Our everyday workhorse

Bambu Lab P2S

Reliable, fast, and quietly clever.

This is the machine most of your jobs run on. It's a fully enclosed, self-driving printer that watches its own work with an AI camera to catch problems before they ruin a print, so what you order is what you get.

It pairs with a four-spool material system, so we can print in several colours in a single run, and that enclosed chamber means we're not stuck with only the easy plastics. With a quick change of nozzle it goes from fine, detailed lettering to fast, chunky structural parts. Ours is far from a standard machine, though, see what we've done to it just below.

What it means for you: your part comes out right, in the colour you want, in a material that suits the job, and we never charge you for the hours it takes.

Our engineering heavyweight

Bambu Lab X2D

For the tough, the technical, and the flawless finish.

The X2D takes on the jobs the everyday machine isn't built for. Its actively heated chamber lets us print proper engineering materials: ASA for parts that live outdoors and shrug off sun and rain, plus ABS and nylon for things that need to be genuinely strong.

It also has two nozzles, which sounds minor but isn't. It can print your model in one material and its supports in another, so the supports peel cleanly away and leave a smooth surface with no scarring. Less waste, stronger parts, tidier results. It even filters its own air, so it's happy running in a normal room.

What we've done to them

These don't come off the shelf like this.

We've modified our machines for cleaner, more consistent prints, closer monitoring, and a tidier, less wasteful workshop. The same upgrades are on both.

Custom airflow riser

A vented riser we designed sits on top for better airflow and heat management, so prints stay consistent whether we're running cool PLA or hot, fussy engineering materials.

In-chamber climate sensing

Temperature and humidity inside the machine are watched constantly. They're the conditions that quietly make or break a print, so we catch a problem before it ever reaches your part.

Always-on monitoring

Every print is tracked and managed by our own behind-the-scenes systems, so nothing ever runs unwatched, day or night.

Upgraded HD camera

A proper high-definition camera for crisp timelapses, and a closer eye on the long jobs.

Automatic plate photos and timelapses

When a plate finishes, the machine photographs it and the timelapse of the print is stitched together automatically. That film is what you scroll through on the showcase pages, and what you get for your own order.

Tool drawer and purge-waste chute

A built-in drawer keeps the right tools to hand, and a chute collects the plastic the machine purges between colours. We'd rather gather that waste than bin it, with a longer-term plan to turn it back into our own draft-quality filament.

What the camera sees. Every print is watched for failures and quality problems: the plate in green, the part in blue, and anything that shouldn't be there gets flagged.
