Terms & conditions

Last updated: 26 June 2026

These terms govern your use of the Weybridge 3D Print website and services. By placing an order or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms.

Our service

We provide 3D printing services from our workshop in Weybridge, Surrey. We print items using FDM (fused deposition modelling) printers. We will print anything we can print, and charge for it appropriately. We are not an industrial scale manufacturer, each item is individually printed to order.

Orders and quotes

  • All orders begin with an enquiry or a catalogue purchase. For custom work, we provide a quote before any printing starts.
  • Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
  • No payment is taken until you accept a quote. Catalogue orders are handled just like a normal enquiry, quote, then payment; it just happens automatically.
  • We reserve the right to decline any order, including orders for items we believe infringe intellectual property rights.

Pricing

Our prices are based on actual costs: filament used, electricity consumed, and a contribution towards machine maintenance. We do not charge for printing time. Prices include VAT where applicable. Postage is charged at cost. Where a part is complex or needs significant design work (modelling from scratch, re-drawing a part from measurements or photos, or extensive revisions), we may charge for that design work. Any such charge is always shown in your quote and agreed before any work begins; it will never appear as a surprise on a bill.

Intellectual property

  • You must have the right to print any file or design you send us. This means it is your own work, or the licence permits third-party printing.
  • We check licences on files from public repositories (MakerWorld, Printables, Thingiverse) before printing.
  • We will not knowingly print items that infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
  • We are not liable if you provide a file you do not have rights to print.

Quality and tolerances

3D printed items are not injection-moulded. They may have visible layer lines, minor stringing, or slight dimensional variation (typically ±0.2mm). These are normal characteristics of FDM printing and are not defects. If a print has a genuine fault (warping, poor adhesion, missing features), we will reprint it at no extra cost.

Colours

Colours shown on screen are approximate. Filament colours vary between batches and manufacturers. If exact colour matching is critical, please discuss this with us before ordering.

Liability

  • 3D printed items are not certified for structural, medical, or safety-critical applications unless explicitly agreed in writing.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of printed items beyond the cost of the order.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is always the current one. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
